Dina Bayoumy - Youth Coordinator 

Dina completed two undergraduate degrees - a Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto, St. George and a Honours Bachelor of Health Studies from York University. She is a versatile team worker, who enjoys working with diverse groups. Described as an effervescent individual, Dina constantly invests her high-energy to accomplish more and help her community. She loves to work out and appreciates a good read.

Zainab Naveed - UofT Rotman Campus

Zainab is a full-time MBA student at the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto. She has over 3 years of experience in finance and advisory across Thailand, England and Pakistan in banks including Citigroup and Barclays. Zainab is actively involved in voluntary work and enjoys scuba diving, horse riding, rock climbing, and travelling during her spare time. Zainab is a go-to person if you’re booking your next vacation, as she traveled over 25 countries, and lived in 5 countries across 3 continents.

Lynn Al Nasser - UofT St George Campus

Lynn is majoring in International Relations and Political Science at the University of Toronto. As an affable, dedicated, and resourceful individual, Lynn is President of the Middle Eastern Students Association, University of Toronto St. George. Lynn is also highly ambitious, planning to study for her Master’s degree in Costa Rica, at the University of Peace.

Hussein Zarif - University of Windsor

Hussein is majoring in Criminology and Political Science at the University of Windsor. He is the President of the Middle Eastern Students Association. As a mentor, student advocate, and leader at the University of Windsor, Hussein has Worked with various non-profits in the Windsor Community. Passionate about all the work he does, he is always looking for the next challenge to tackle. 

Mina Al Azawi - University of Guelph

Mina is a full-time Biological Science student at the University of Guelph. She is president of the Arab Student Association and a dedicated volunteer for several causes, investing her energy in helping those in need. Mina is also highly determined and planning to pursue a career in dentistry.

Abdullatif Al-Shaikh - University of Waterloo

Abdullatif is a Mechanical Engineering student in his fourth year at the University of Waterloo. He is the founder and President of the Society of Arab Students (SAS), which was founded in January 2013. As an active member in the community, Abdullatif co-founded Talent for Syria and was a previous organizer of the Reviving the Islamic Spirit (RIS) conference. Abdullatif loves to fly airplanes, visiting over 20 countries across 5 continents. He displays interest in the business and financial world, and has experience working with various non-profit and professional organizations.

Heba Ali - Carleton University

 
 

Heba is a full time student at Carleton University, studying a bachelor in Business Law Honours; she also plans on going to Law School once she has completed her undergrad and pursue a career in that field. Heba is the President of the Iraqi Student Association of Ottawa and a member of the Arab Council. She is a resourceful, hardworking, honest young lady who strives on making sure everything is completed to perfection and presented in the proper manner. She is also an active volunteer in the community and with the newcomers to help them get accustomed to their new homes, and in the new school systems. When she has spare time, Heba usually loves to go on mini adventures in the city or countryside, and when time permits travel and discover new places.
