Leilah Nadir is an Iraqi-Canadian writer who grew up between England and Canada. Nadir is most known for her novel The Orange Trees of Baghdad: In Search of My Lost Family, which won the George Ryga Award in 2008. Leilah also writes fiction and has written a play titled Heavenly Bodies.
