He is the acclaimed author of De Niro's Game (2006), Cockroach (2008), Beirut Hellfire Society (2018), and Stray Dogs (2022). Hage has been nominated for awards including the Giller Prize and the Governor General's Award. Hage is the 2019 winner of the Writers' Trust Engel/Findley Award.
