Wajdi Mouawad is a Lebanese-Canadian writer and actor. He is the author of Scorched, Tideline, Forests and Heavens, among many others. His plays have been translated into more than twenty languages and presented all over the world. Mouawad is also the artistic director of the National Arts Centre’s French Theatre in Ottawa, Canada and the director of the Théâtre National de la Colline in Paris.
